School of Liberal Studies carried out an empirical research on documenting how the women Bootleggers in Chhara Nagar in Ahmedabad have moved from their erstwhile profession to now being self sufficient artists, and the societal changes experienced by the women after being guided by the NGO into their new profession. The study was completed under one of the Suraksha Setu projects organised by the Ahmedabad city police and Wings to fly NGO.
