Dr. Tanushri Banerjee is Associate Professor of Business Administration. She has earned her undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from M.S. University, Baroda, India. She has her Masters Degree in Information Systems from the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) and a Ph.D. in Marketing Information Systems from M.S. University, Baroda, India.
Dr. Banerjee has 16 years of work experience divided between academia and industry. Prior to joining PDPU, she was Associate Director at Duke Corporate Education IIMA. She has also been Faculty at Maharaja Sayajirao University, Gujarat University, and visiting faculty at Nirma Institute of Management and Nirma Institute of Technology teaching courses at MDP, PG and UG level. She has previously worked as Systems Analyst at the Corporate Headquarters of Abbott Laboratories in Chicago, and was also Manager of Information Systems at Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Mudra Institute of Communications. Her Masters level dissertation work on Internet Security and Corporate Websites included internship at Doculabs, a document management firm in Chicago and working with Faculty at UIC in managing the University Faculty websites. She has participated and delivered in conferences at IIMA, NIM and Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management.
Tanushri joined Duke CE in early 2007 to help establish India office operations. She has worked with Duke CE employees and internal and external faculty to design and deliver innovative educational experiences to clients and programme participants and was also responsible for technology, infrastructure and programme support for creating an effective office environment that supported the overall strategy of the Duke CE India and IIMA collaboration. At Duke Corporate Education, her responsibilities included discovery/ diagnostics, design and delivery of customized corporate in-company and open enrollment programmes. She has played a key role in designing and delivering leadership programmes for IBM, Infosys, SBI and Bank of America and the Women and Leadership consortium programme hosted at IIMA. She has been part of writing proposals for clients in other sectors and organizing consortiums. She has also worked in an internal Duke CE team for designing and delivering virtual learning programmes.
